Entry level light glider
The ALPHA DLS is the lightweight version of the classic entry-level wing. Thanks to its lightweight construction and further design optimizations, it is up to 800g lighter and offers even greater glide performance than the Classic version. This makes it the perfect choice for Hike & Fly, travel, and even your first cross-country flights. First ALPHA DLS deliveries will take place from March.

DLS combines structural innovations with a unique material mix. This development philosophy includes a range of small yet crucial measures that collectively result in a significant weight reduction. Robustness and durability remain at the consistently high standard you expect.
MAXIMUM PASSIVE SAFETY
The profile has state-of-the-art Air Scoop technology, offering higher maximum lift, which delays airflow separation. Progressive brake pressure provides a clear and noticeable warning as you approach the stall point.
ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
The new profile gives the ALPHA series a performance boost of up to 15 %. With improved pressure distribution along the chord, it delivers optimal pitch behaviour and increased efficiency. The DLS version takes this even further, achieving even better glide performance through further drag reduction compared to the classic version.
TAILORED HIGH-END MATERIAL MIX
The ALPHA DLS uses slimmer risers and high-quality unsheathed ProDry lines in the gallery. The different coloured lines are extremely stable in length, extremely water-repellent and offer above-average tear resistance even after long periods of use.

The ALPHA series is designed with Seamless Weight Ranges, offering even better sizing for lighter pilots. They enable a seamless transition from one wing size to the next, so that any pilot suits only one ideal take-off weight range. In this way, the ALPHA series guarantees the optimum balance of useful airspeed and climb performance in all flying conditions. Like its predecessor, the ALPHA series also has an extended weight range of up to 15 kg in each size.
