The right glider for your mission. As versatile and light as never before, the PI 3 will prove the perfect companion for all your flying adventures.
An unprecedented fun-performance package, the PI pioneered its class over 10 years ago and opened up a new world for many pilots. It was no longer simply a means of quickly getting down after climbing a challenging mountain. Back then, the PI managed to combine a convenient descent aid with performance and fun, and over the years it has opened up completely new possibilities.
Go hiking, climbing and discover the most remote places, or enjoying thermal flights or miniwing action - a PI is available in the right size for every use.
Ambitious adventures? For many worldwide top athletes the answer is a PI. From France to Patagonia - no summit is too high for this versatile ultralight wing.
Grown and matured over three generations, the PI series has been offering a unique performance-fun package for over 10 years. It opens up a completely new world for pilots.
You want to go higher, faster, and further? So do we. That's why our popular ultralight mountain paraglider is already in its third generation. The PI series is at the heart of the countless alpine adventures that our athletes experience generation after generation. From France to Patagonia no mountain is too high and no expedition too extreme. With a PI in your luggage, you will experience the world from new perspectives, not just talk about them.

Minimal weight was achieved by using Nitinol Wires on the leading edge and extremely light Dominico 10D cloth. From size 21 onwards, the focus is more on manageability and durability, where we use the proven Porcher Skytex 27gm fabric and nylon wires. Sizes 21 to 27 also have split A-risers for big ears, while the smaller sizes 16 and 19 do not have this function, to save weight.
The PI 3 is 220 gm (11%) lighter than its predecessor.
The PI 3 is the first paraglider in the world to have new Edelrid Pro Dry lines. Pro Dry is a further development of the proven 8000 Aramid line and has 60% higher water repellency. This line is extremely stable in length and has above-average break resistance, even after long use.
